configure news only

Since OE 5.x, I've been wanting this... does it exist, can it happen?
In short, I'd like to load Windows Mail directly to the Newsgroups (bypassing the "Local Folders" and its Email functions altogether). Having to click the left-hand navigation all the time is really old.

I'm afraid not - but it wouldn't be difficult to write an application to hook onto Windows Mail to get this to happen :o)
